Adultery

Lust Or Love
The question isn’t, what can I look at or how many times can I look? The big question is, how do I look? Anyone who looks at a woman lustfully. It is a heart issue. What are people to us, all people? Are they a tool to satisfy lusts? Is the issue the fact that sexual desires need to be satisfied?

John 10:9-11 (NIV) I am the gate; whoever enters through Me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

This is where we have to give our heart up to God for examination. Are we a thief or are we a part of the Good Shepherd? The life of a sheep matters to those with the Good Shepherd’s heart. We would never raise up a pet sheep, keep it in our house with the members of our family, and then kill it and eat it at the dinner table. This is what God accused David of when he committed adultery with Bathsheba and had Uriah, her husband, killed.
