Mat 25:40 (NIV) The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’

Mat 25:45 (NIV) He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me.’

Christ takes all our relationships with other people personal. But He takes the marriage relationship very personal. Our assignment with our spouse is far more important than any other relationship. We will be married to Jesus, in the spiritual sense, for eternity. This makes the marriage to our spouse a very important training situation. We need to see our spouse as being a part of Jesus. When we do something to them, we need to see that we are doing it to Jesus. Pray that God gives you the power to treat your spouse as if you were doing it to Jesus.
