If a sheep gives birth to a wolf, what would you suggest is going on? I think we have a wolf disguised as a sheep. The leader may be refined, soft spoken, difficult to read their motives, and appear to be loving. However, their converts won’t have all those skills yet.

Baby wolves will lack all the training and experience of the disguised mother wolf. The leaders may be believable. But, their followers will reveal the true character of the leader.

Now, “beware of false prophets” takes on some meaning. We now know how to watch out for false prophets.

Wolves have a hard time sounding like sheep. Their baa sounds a little harsh at times. That is where the Bible comes in. It speaks Truth. When a soft, cuddly sheep starts howling; we will have a red flag come up in our mind. When a person who represents them self as a godly or loving individual starts saying things contrary to God’s Word, we know we are dealing with a false prophet. However, there are some people who are in transition from sheep to wolves. They are a little harder to detect.
