Mat 6:22b If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light.

Jesus and all that He taught caused great light to shine on reality.

Mat 4:16 (NIV) The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.

We must not be fooled. Jesus’ life and ministry must be allowed to shine into our eyes and let us see the truth. We CAN see right now what we will surely see on the judgment day.

We CAN change anything that isn’t truth right now. We CAN live our life the way it should be lived right now. All the answers to all the issues of eternity are fully available to us in an open book test. It all has to do with attention. If our eyes are good, we will focus our eyes on the Truth of God’s Word. We will let it influence all our decisions. We will see all the Truth and live that Truth for time and eternity.

We have the light of Jesus shining on everything around us. We CAN clearly see what is right and wrong. We CAN see what is good, better, and best. Jesus isn’t withholding anything from us. We have it all right in front of our eyes. All we have to do is start asking Him to empower us to expose ourselves to it all. We just have to ask Him to move into the control position of our life and start working in and through us for the Father’s glory.
