Don’t under estimate the power and transformation that comes from this simplistic set of procedures. Most of us complicate the work of God with mountains of rules and volumes of steps. Others try to over simplify these steps by putting the entire responsibility on God.

If He were going to do it by Himself, He wouldn’t have bothered creating us. We have been nothing but trouble ever since He created us. The reason He created us was so we would learn how to work together with Him. He, being the smart one in the relationship, means we are going to have to learn to follow His lead. Obedience is a big part of our relationship with God.

When God lays out how He wants us to gain victory over certain maladies in our lives and ministries, that is the only way it is going to work. There will be no shortcuts and no addendums. As we start flowing through the Gospels and watching Jesus at work, we will see the procedures for living by the Spirit at work there; and, we will see how Jesus did His ministry.
