John 14:6 (NIV) Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except THROUGH Me.”

The only road that leads to God is Jesus. Jesus is the way to get to Him. Jesus also makes it clear that He is not only the way but the very gate itself.

John 10:9 (NIV) I am the gate; whoever enters through Me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.

All who enter through Him will be saved. And, all who are saved will have power to live the kind of life required for eternal life. We will feed the hungry, we will give something to drink to the thirsty, we will invite strangers in, we will give clothes to the naked, we will minister to those who are sick, we will visit those in prison. How? By means of the powerful life transformation that comes through salvation.
