God is nice enough to consider all my past, present, and future sins covered by the blood of Jesus. People, on the other hand, don’t appreciate any of my sins against them. They don’t like me sinning against them in the past, present, or future. Those who don’t understand this big difference between a pure heart credited to our account with God and a pure heart being lived out in a pure life, think we are a bunch of hypocrites.

If I am just starting out in the sanctification process as a new or untrained Christian, God may be happy with me; but, not very many people are.

Often the new convert or the untrained Christian tries to act like the spiritually mature Christians, but fail. Many times the trained, mature Christians see the new convert or the untrained person’s failures and doubt the reality of the conversion.

What is wrong with this baby Christian? They don’t walk, talk, eat, or poop (sin) like a true Christian. They have to wear spiritual diapers just to cover up their inabilities to control themselves. Aren’t you glad we don’t view our human babies this way?
