It is fun reading about Jesus and how great His ministry was.

Sometimes I wish I could have been there and just followed Him around. I am sure that being there was a lot more exciting than reading about it. But this isn’t the purpose of the Bible. This isn’t entertainment. What Jesus is showing us and His trainees is how to start and keep a worldwide Christian movement going.

What is fueling Jesus’ ministry? God! This is obviously not some human effort. Jesus knew His disciples weren’t able to do these things. However, this is what it is going to take to start and keep a worldwide Christian movement going. We all know that it is going to take God to do this size of a job. But, when we look at the ministry of Jesus we can see that it is really going to have to be all God.
