I’m Sorry, I Didn’t Hear You
We all know that it is God’s work. We are aware of the fact that He has to be the One Who is doing it through us. Where we struggle is at the point of hearing and knowing exactly what He wants. Obviously Jesus is in that close relationship with the Father. And, no one is more qualified to teach us how to properly establish and maintain a close relationship with the Father. Jesus’ life and ministry are going to show us how. Here are some Scripture verses that will give us a hint as to what we need to be looking for in Jesus’ life and ministry.

Psalm 33:18 (NIV) But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love.
If our confidence is in our strength, training, and mental abilities; we will lack a proper fear of the Lord and a hope in His love. It is in these inadequate attitudes that we develop hearing problems. We are busy listening to ourselves and not really listening to what God has to say. We will not succeed in our life, ministry, or our training of others without these characteristics.
