Just look at the disciples. They didn’t seem to be able to say anything right in the beginnings. They had to be corrected and guided along almost every time they opened their mouths. It wasn’t until much later in their training that Peter finally came up with the fact that Jesus was the Son of the living God. But that didn’t last long. Right after that he was being rebuked for resisting Jesus’ going to the cross. That one didn’t go well for him. What was keeping the disciples from saying the right things. And, what did cause Peter to come up with the right answer?

Mat 16:17 (NIV) Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by My Father in heaven.”

It wasn’t something from the human brain that helped Peter get this one right. This came to Peter by means of the Father. That is the way your life and ministry stays successful.
