Mat 6:14-15 (NIV) For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.


Human Effort Fails To Fulfill
Jesus’ Requirements In Us
John 15:6 (NIV) If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
A person who does not remain (believe, depend, trust, rely) in Jesus will be “thrown into the fire” of hell and burned.

One of the reasons that will happen is because a person through their own efforts will never be able to forgive others. Therefore, their heavenly Father will not forgive them. Without Jesus they will be able to do nothing spiritual. But, the person who remains in Jesus will be able to forgive.
