Prov 14:12 (NIV) There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

A lot of the people we are around think that death means to cease to exist. Adam and Eve probably thought that.

Gen 2:17 (NIV) But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for WHEN you eat of it you will surely DIE.

They ate the fruit from it and didn’t drop over dead. Yet, they were dead. The moment they ate from it they were separated from God. The word death for humans means separation. When we experience physical death, our spirit is separated from our body.

The truth is, we are all going to spend eternity somewhere. Is it important to know what the choices are? Absolutely!
