Dead People Don’t Sin

Rom 6:2 (NIV) By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

The Bible says no.

The reason we are saved and God’s perfect righteousness has been credited to our account is because we consider ourselves dead to sin by being crucified with Christ. If we are dead to sin, how is it we are still alive to it? How is it we are still living a life of sin? “How can we live in it any longer?” No matter how we word it the answer comes out the same. We can’t. Yet, we are. We find ourselves sinning. Why?
