It is worth it to give up our “I can do this by myself” attitude so we can get God’s goodness. This one change in our life and ministry will help us give up our “general” seeking of God and teach us to seek Him for every specific issue we face. We literally need Him for everything.

Phil 4:6 (NIV) Do not be anxious about ANYTHING, but in EVERYTHING, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Looking to God for everything is a true demonstration of our faith in Him.

• The more we exercise our faith in Him by asking Him about everything, the greater the relationship develops.
• The greater the relationship develops, the more our love grows.
• The more our love grows, the more we listen to everything God has to say.
• The more we listen to everything God has to say, the more we live the life of Jesus and yield to His ministry.

Jesus is doing everything the Father tells Him to do. When we start asking God about everything and allowing Him to empower us to follow His leadership, we are doing what Jesus is doing. It is then that the life and ministry of Jesus starts flowing in and through us.
