Mat 7:23 (NIV) Then I will tell them plainly, “I never knew you. Away from Me, you evildoers!” However, we are not standing at the judgment throne right now. We can still make changes. As we learn the life and words of Jesus, we can allow Him to produce them in our life. Then when trials and circumstances beat against our life, we will not fall. Why? Because we have built our life on the rock of Jesus’ words.

This Scripture is saying that everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice will be able to stand during all of life’s difficulties.

That will give us success in life and an eternity with God. Hearing and putting into practice is the victorious Christian life. That is why we ask God to help us live Christianity. I know we start out as new or untrained Christians doing a lot of things we aren’t supposed to and not doing a lot of things we are supposed to. But, we can turn to the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s word and will see that change drastically.
