John 6:44-45 (NIV) No one can come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me.

Then once we came to Jesus, the Holy Spirit came into us.

Eph 2:18 (NIV) For through Him [Jesus] we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

After coming to Jesus and getting the Holy Spirit inside us, we were able to gain access to the Father.

When we took our first step as a person who is poor in spirit by allowing God’s provision of salvation to take place in us, this introduced us to our first Spirit-to-spirit relational message. The Holy Spirit spoke the assurance into our spirit that we have been saved.
