Reconciliation

But That Isn't Right!
Luke 6:30-32 (NIV) Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you. “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even ‘sinners’ love those who love them.”

Jesus is your Shepherd. You don’t have to take care of yourself. Sheep don’t protect, defend, flee, or supply their own needs. If you try to protect yourself, Jesus will let you.
Leaving what is fair up to God is what a disciple learns. That is one of the hardest lessons for us to learn.

We want grace from God. But, we want justice from those around us.

Let Me Think; Do I Want God To Forgive Me?
Mat 6:12 (NIV) Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Alright, I can forgive those who owe me something. But, this guy thinks I owe him something and I don’t. Not collecting on some money I don’t have is one thing. But, having to give up money I have to someone I don’t owe is another.

This concludes your studying for today.

what you have studied so far.
