Another aspect of Jesus’ and the Spirit’s ministry is Their ability to teach us where to look for our way out of a temptation. Those who are cooperative with the Holy Spirit will learn to automatically expect God’s provision of a way out. God always provides us with a way out of temptations. We just have to know how to find them. We have to believe that the way out is always going to be there.

When we feel all boxed in, that is the time to realize this and start looking for the outlet. If we don’t know that God always provides a way out, we will give in to the temptation. We will think that we really don’t have a choice. The poor in spirit person will come to God asking Him to show them where He has located the way out.

If we fail to take advantage of the way out, we end up yielding to the temptation. Yielding to temptations is called misdeeds of the body.

A major part of your ministry is teaching people how to look for the way out of every temptation that comes their way. As you look at Jesus in Matthew 4:1-11, God’s way out was a Scripture. God causes a Scripture to come up in your mind that shows you the way out. That is why you and those you are ministering to need to pour your life into the Bible. You need to take them to Matthew 4:1-11 and show them why and how to look to the Bible for their escape from everything their body, the world, and the devil throw at them. Help them pray for this kind of relationship with the Holy Spirit so He will always give them the Scripture they need for each moment of their life.
