Here is what our good eyes will be able to see. They will be able to see that there are only two choices in this world. Jesus didn’t say the two choices were God and Satan. Satan is a defeated foe. Jesus destroyed the works of the devil.

Heb 2:14 (NIV) Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil.

The two choices are God and money. It isn’t clear to the spiritually blind what the issues are. No matter what we want in life, it costs money to get it.

Either directly or in directly we will have to buy something to get what we want, or afford to go where we want to go. Jesus is helping us SEE what our real enemy is. Even if we want to do the ministry, we start seeing how much it is going to cost to be able to do it. Many would be in the ministry fulltime, if they had enough money. Many would be doing a lot more for God, if they could finance it.

God doesn’t agree with this philosophy. If we allow God to clean out the spiritual condition of our life, He will be able to start taking care of all our financial needs. He will be able to work in and through us to bring about dynamic ministry without us having to pursue money directly.
