You Don’t Have To Rob Peter To Pay Paul

Phil 4:18-19 (NIV) I [Paul] have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

Here we see the same thing in Paul’s life. God isn’t neglecting him. God is speaking to other Christians asking them to join Paul financially in the ministry. Paul allowed God to start ordering the events of his life. And, God started making sure his needs were met. We and our trainees have to learn to live this, if we are going to be able to do the ministry God’s way.

And my God WILL meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
