Knowledge is mostly mechanical. It is a process whereby the brain is enabled to store the information. The knowledge system we just covered simply exposes your brain, located in your body, and your mind, located in your spirit, to Biblical information in order to help them become more familiar with it. Many make the mistake of thinking that this is the end of the goal. They feel that once they know a Scripture, that fact alone will change their life. Knowledge of the Bible is mostly providing the Holy Spirit with the raw building materials necessary to start changing our lives.

We do have to KNOW a truth before it can set us free. But once our brain and mind possesses that knowledge, it becomes usable material for the Holy Spirit to work with.

John 8:32 (NIV) Then you will KNOW the truth, and the truth will set you free.
