If we present a poor spirit to God, the Holy Spirit will make it possible for us to put to death the misdeeds of our body. However, we often have a problem giving the Holy Spirit permission to help us put the misdeeds of our body to death. The fact is the misdeeds of the body provide pleasure. Our body enjoys doing many of these misdeeds. What we many times fail to realize is that these misdeeds are costing us a close and intimate relationship with God and His ministry. These misdeeds have the same affect in the spirit realm as impurities have on or in glass. The true image can’t shine through glass with impurities.

That means Jesus isn’t able to flow through that area of our life and ministry. It means that the people we are ministering to are being neglected in that area of our ministry. It is not only important to us to learn how to get the victory in that area, it is important to our friends that we become victorious there. Those misdeeds damage our relationship with them and they keep them from being trained in those areas as well.
