Mark 16:15 (NIV) He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”

Our going into all the world and preaching the good news is a major part of His setting up His Kingdom. This is where meekness and inheriting the earth come in. If we are transparent through the transforming power of God found in meekness, we will be able to cover the earth with the gospel message. As people respond to the gospel message and come to Christ, they will join Jesus’ Kingdom.

As people join Jesus’ Kingdom, the Kingdom of God is being set up and the earth is in the process of being inherited. God isn’t all that concerned with the planet. He cares about the people on the earth. Meekness makes it possible for us to reach the people on the earth. That makes it possible for Jesus to rule and reign in their hearts and lives. His Kingdom is then set up in their heart.

Psa 2:7-9 (NIV) I will proclaim the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father. Ask of Me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession. You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”
