If we are struggling with stealing, we can find ourselves yielding to satanic temptation to steal all the time. We can pray to be delivered from the evil one and not see much success. It seems like the prayer isn’t being answered.

• We can be expecting the temptation to stop being presented to us.
• We can expect the influence of the temptation to go away.
• We can expect Satan’s power to not feel so demanding on our life.

But, with all those expectations, we find ourselves falling back into stealing a lot of the time. Why? WE have to be strong in the Lord. The Bible has given us permission to stop stealing. We have prayed and been empowered by God to stop stealing. Then comes the moment of temptation to steal. Everything feels the same. The desires, the draw, the pressure, and the pleasure all come with full force.

We can believe that the prayer didn’t work or we can believe it did. Even though it doesn’t SEEM like the prayer worked, it did. We have the power to turn around and walk away from the temptation. God has made us strong. Now we are going to have to BE strong.
