We don’t have diagnostic tools to identify these people outside of the Holy Spirit. Humans will admire, follow, and immolate spiritual dogs and hogs. They have a way of gaining our respect and allegiance. Even though they lack spiritual transformation, they look harmless to the average person. We can pet them, clean them up, train them, and make these dogs and hogs our pets. The fact that they don’t understand the value of pearls doesn’t concern us. So what they don’t like God and the things of God? They still make great friends.

It doesn’t concern us that they speak against the Bible, church, Jesus, and anything from God. It seems normal for them to embrace false religions and try to talk us into accepting the concept that all roads lead to heaven. We watch them work on all our friends and watch them try to lead our friends into pathways of destruction. We sit silently observing as they worm their way into the lives of all those around us.

They are dogs and hogs. They don’t know any better, right? Wrong.

Rom 1:21-25 (NIV) For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--Who is forever praised. Amen.

These are people who have rejected God’s offer to be transformed from their old shape, condition, and nature. God offered them the chance to become a new creation, He let them try it all out, He showed them all the benefits, and they rejected Him and them.
