I Know How You Feel
We are not going to respond to the Great Commission unless we allow mourning to motivate our actions. Something has to influence our priorities, help us set our goals, direct the way we plan our day, decide who we will and will not talk to each day, motivate our study and prayer life, help us give ourselves to full commitment to God, and give us a full desire to expend our life for the needs of a lost and dying world. God is highly motivated by the desire to reach the lost.

When He tries to interrupt our day because someone needs ministering to we will resist Him if we don’t have a mourning attitude. We get extremely motivated by the pressures of our own life. This often comes into conflict with God’s plans for us. Mourning helps us lose the intensity of our own needs and intensify in our focus and concern for other’s needs. No mourning and none of this is going to happen. Right?
