Through the thirteenth course, Living The Christ-life, Jesus will bring you into the main objectives of the Christian. All of Christianity is based on faith. Another word that can be used to describe your faith in God is trust. Faith and trust in God are attitudes that are based on your belief that God always tells the truth. You will go far in your relationship with God, if you consider Him honest and trustworthy.

Once you believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior and start trusting Him because He is trustworthy, it helps you start yielding to Him. If you are going to live the Christ-life, then you must yield to Jesus as He starts living His life inside you and through you. Jesus is using these devotions to work together to help you put your complete faith, trust, dependency, and reliance on Him. He will use the Scriptures provided here to help you have a wonderful and close relationship with Him. That makes your life more exciting and more blessed than you could ever think of or ask for.

If you are going to believe, trust, and yield to Jesus, then you are going to have to be convinced that He is going to be kind and gentle with you. Jesus used the Scriptures presented in the “Pursuit of God” course to help you start on your journey toward that goal. He helped you be ready to give your whole life to Him and let Him do what He did through His Own body, when He was ministering on this earth.

You can’t imitate Jesus, act like Him, talk like Him, or live like Him; He is too powerful, pure, and godly. What you need is a willingness to let Him live His life inside you and then through you to others. Jesus used the Scriptures in the “Pursuit of God” study to start you in the direction of trusting Him enough to begin yielding your life to His life.

Jesus used the Scriptures provided in this course to move you further toward understanding God well enough to be willing to give your whole life and ministry over to Him. He helped you see that He is powerful enough to do all the things He promised you. As you move into the Life of Jesus, you will soon see that it is going to take the greatness of God to do what needs to be done. He is causing the supernatural power and wisdom of Jesus to flow in and through you. Your and other’s needs have to have God-sized solutions.

The dream can only be as big as the one who is going to be living it out. If God tried to give you a dream that would take Someone as powerful as Jesus to live out and you only see yourself trying to fulfill it, then you are going to reject it or limit it to your size. Jesus is teaching you through the Living The Christ-Life course, that the dream is going to be brought into reality through Him living His life and doing His ministry in and through you. Now, you can start relaxing and believing that He can and will do it.

Jesus made it possible for you to be a child of God in the first place. If it weren’t for Him, you wouldn’t be one of God’s children. The truth of the matter is, you owe everything to Him. Yet, Jesus still won’t do anything in and through you without your permission. The reason He hasn’t started living His life and doing His ministry through you is because you don’t know how let Him. And, you aren’t sure you want Him to. As you allow the wonderful gift of you being made God’s child to dawn on you, the appreciation will heal your heart and help you yield to His life.

As you study the Word of God, you see how great and powerful Jesus is. You see Him in action and know He is the answer to everyone’s needs. If you don’t realize that Jesus is going to meet all of these great needs and solve all of their problems Himself, you feel overwhelmed by the problems of the world. When the Bible tells you that you are to be helped with your needs and are to help people with their needs, you have to realize that it only happen through the Christ-life.

The healing and transformation flow out of the Word of God into Jesus’ life that’s in you. All of the Word of God is only fulfilled through Jesus as He lives His life and does His ministry inside you and then through you. If God’s Word exerts pressure on you causing you to try to fulfill and live it by yourself, then you will go into guilt and condemnation. Living the Christ-life shows you how to not only GET Jesus’ help but to EXPERIENCE His actual life in you.

Jesus used the Verses from the Bible in this course to really deal with your communication with God. He helped you know and feel His heart as you yielded to His life and ministry. The Jesus Life deals with faith, trust, yielding, and living Jesus’ life and ministry. It involves a lot of communication between Him and you. Jesus used the Biblical principles in this course to help you grow in your love and appreciation for Him, as you walk and talk with Him all day long.

Prayer is the only way into Christianity; and it is the only way into the Christ-life. Your prayer relationship with God is what God requires for you to get what He has to offer. In the “God’s Answers to Prayer” course, Jesus led you into the procedures for getting His life flowing in and through you. None of the spiritual things God has to offer just happen without you letting God know you want these things. You have to ask Him for each and every thing you want and need.

For Jesus to start living His life in your body, prayer become one of the most important things you do. When you pray, you are actually inviting God into that situation. Since He honors your God-given free will, you have to let Him know that is what you want. And, you have to use the principles you found in the “God’s Answers to Prayer” course.

As you move into the Christ-life, you quickly find out that Jesus is doing everything He is doing for the cause of God’s Kingdom. You are only able to be where you need to be, saying what you need to say, doing what you need to do, being what you need to be, and yielding to Jesus’ life if you understand what is motivating Jesus. It is hard to constantly cooperate with Him and His life if you don’t understand where He is coming from.

As Jesus used “The Kingdom” course to take you through the Bible, it helped you have the same eternal perspective that He has. That got you on the same page with Him which helped you cooperate with Him.

The philosophies of this world resist and even stop the flow of Jesus’ life in and through you. Born to Win helped you give up your competitive attitudes and receive healing from your selfish motivations. You are able to win the way you were born to by yielding yourself to Jesus and all He offers. The goal of winning, that God has in mind, is so big and wonderful that it takes miracles only Jesus can produce. This winning life is available to all who will put their faith and trust in Him.

Living the Christ-life is Jesus working miracles in people’s lives and you being so close to the event that it actually feels like you worked the miracle. Living the Christ-life takes the good news message from just words to miraculous events that change people’s lives in drastic ways. People are able to not only hear the good news, they are able to experience it in their own lives.

The good news message takes on a whole new meaning, when you start allowing Jesus to establish a collaborative relationship with you. This happens as you yield to Him and let Him live His life and do His ministry in and through you. This gives all the people around you provisions that they can only get through Jesus. This gives you and your friends awesome God-sized miracles that you would never get outside the life of Christ; that’s good news!

Even though people are sometimes very difficult to build relationships with, Jesus was able to build those relationships in a very dynamic way. We all lack a lot of the characteristics that it takes to establish good, wholesome relationships with ourselves and others. But, Jesus does it in such a way that it creates a powerful love expression that only He can produce. Letting Jesus give you the Christ-life effects all your relationships and enhances them. Things that have been impossible up until now will be easy as Jesus supplies you with His abilities.

Wouldn’t it be great to go to a church where the people there were living their lives and doing their ministries with the love and power of Jesus? The only way that is possible is to allow Jesus to have His way in where you go, what you do, how you think, how you feel, what you say, and the way you live. If the life of Jesus was flowing through the majority of the people in your church, it would be the most compassionate, caring, healing church on the planet. Working with Jesus and Jesus working with you brings you into a life that only He can produce.

The Bible concepts Jesus uses in the “Working With God” course put the final touches on preparing you for the Christ-life. Once those principles were established, you were ready, on a foundational level, to yield to Jesus and let Him be the true Lord of your life.

It all comes down to yielding to all Jesus has to offer. You are opening your life up to allow Him to have His will in you. He has what you have always wanted and needed. But, just like everyone else, you tried to obtain it through all the wrong sources. Happiness and joy are heading your way as you learn to have faith and trust in Jesus’ integrity and character. You had faith in Him and He gave you the most wonderful salvation that you could have ever hoped for.

You have trusted Jesus and He has proven to you that He is totally trustworthy. You have yielded to various aspects of His life and ministry and have enjoyed every minute of it. Now it is time to take the plunge; it is time for you to go ahead and dive into deep water. If you have enjoyed and been thankful for all He has done so far, then you need to realize that, that is only barely scratching the surface of all the wonderful things you and He are going to do together; the greatest is yet to come.
