The third course, The Dream, helps your friend be willing to trade their dream for God’s dream. Once they gained a better understanding of Who God is in their study of “The Pursuit of God” and how great He is in the “Greatness Of God” course, they became more open to allowing God to put a dream in their heart. They will only trust themselves or their closest friends with their life’s dream, if they don’t trust God.

Your and Jesus’ objective is to help your friend grow in their relationship with God. If this happens, they will trade the dream they have for themselves with the dream God has for them. That opens the door to the whole eternal perspective of God. The possibilities, the provisions, and the power are all brought into your friend’s plans for their future. They become able to see from a supernatural vantage point. They go from human limitations to the unlimited realm of God.

“The Dream” devotions are dealing with your friend cooperating with God’s dream. It is a presentation of WHY they should let God design their dream for them. Jesus will spend time with them reasoning and explaining all the benefits of Him training them as the dreamer, Him exchanging their dream for His dream, Him being the Creator of their dream, and Him leading them into the eternal aspects of that dream. Pray that your friend will open their heart to God’s dream for them.

God is wanting to help your friend see that dreams control their goals, plans, purposes, and drives. Once they are locked into a dream, even if life doesn’t allow them to spend much time on it, their heart is zeroed into a hunger for its fulfillment. It longs for the opportunity to work on it. It tries to open doors for heading toward it. And, it puts pressure on your friend to do what it takes to fulfill it. If your friend never gets to work on that dream, their heart will make them miserable all during the course of their life.

Pray that Jesus will empower you to help your friend see that God will control their circumstances. He will enhance their abilities. And, He will open up their opportunities, if they choose the dream that will fulfill the purpose for their life. He will help them with a dream that fits the way He created them. He loves them more than they are CAPABLE of loving themselves. He knows what is best for them. He sees their future and is shaping it for a great life and ministry. And He has the unlimited power to make it all come to pass.
