Very often it happens that people who are like your friend don’t know that when they became a Christian, they were born into God’s family. You not only need to explain this to them, they need to know what all that means. If they already know they are a child of God, a member of His family, and a citizen in His eternal kingdom, then they need to be reminded. Through these devotions, Jesus is going to be training them how to live as not only a child of God, but as a successful, trained, experienced, and mature child of God.

Just like your friend had to learn how to live as a human all this time, they now have to learn how to live as a child of God. As you work together with Jesus, you and He will use this series to bring them into a very exciting opportunity. They are going to find out what children of God can do. They will discover that the limitations they have had as a human don’t apply to them as a child of God. Help them stay encouraged and excited as Jesus trains them into growing up in Him.
