How Does Your Friend
Feel About God Talking To Them?
The Bible is full of God talking to people and them recognizing His voice. Even when your friend reads the Bible, if God doesn’t talk to them through it, they will get the wrong meaning. There are all kinds of interpretations of what various Scriptures mean. Plus, your friend may not like some of the things the Bible says to them. They may want to water it down, ignore it, make it say what they would like for it to say, or try to find some other Scriptures that counteract that Scripture.

Does Your Friend
Know There Are Other Sources
Few Christians realize that there are four voices talking to them on a regular basis. Most of them just see the thoughts poping up in their mind as being themselves. They may know they are responsible for deciding which ones they are going to listen to. But, the decision is a lot easier when they know WHO is talking to them. As long as thoughts and people’s suggestions are coming at them and they can’t tell who is behind these thoughts, it gets confusing as to what voice is coming from God and which one isn’t.
Do You Have A Good Illustration?
Jesus will be helping you use experiences in your own life to illustrate the difference between the voice of God and all other voices. As Jesus takes you and your friend through this series, help your friend see what the Bible says they are to do when they hear from God and when they hear from others. Help them see that if they are getting information, thoughts, and feelings that they are allowing to guide them in the wrong direction, it remains difficult for them to win at life.
