Now that you have allowed Jesus to expose you to those things that make it possible for you to bring Jesus’ healing to your friend, you and Jesus will be able to start asking your friend important questions. As you visit with them, you will have a very valuable purpose for learning certain things about them. Rather than just talking about things that don’t bring healing, you will care enough for them to get to know things that will allow you help them.

As you are asking your friend questions, you may discover that they aren’t ready for Bible Life Counseling. You may discover they have not been born again. There is a program that you can familiarize yourself with, called Living The Power Life program. Just go to the WCTLC Start Page and select, “I want to know more about CHRISTIANITY.” Rather than having to try to convince your friend that they need Jesus’ salvation, you can take them through the Living The Power Life series.

There is an BLU elective course that is vital to all three years of Bible Life University. It is called Sharing Jesus. All of the things you have just learned about Growing: Year Two can be applied to the Sharing Jesus program. You would be in the Sharing Jesus program while your friend is in the Living The Power Life program. Just go to BLU, scroll to the bottom of the page, and select Sharing Jesus: Elective.

If your friend is already a Christian, but you don’t get the impression that they are ready for Bible Life Counseling, then you might ask Jesus, if they should go through becoming a better Christian. Just select, “I want to be a BETTER Christian” and see if that is the kind of help your friend needs. Since training in Growing Year Two is only dealing with Bible Life Counseling, you would want to either practice it, by yourself, or wait until you have a friend that is ready for Bible Life Counseling.

If you don’t have a friend ready to go through Bible Life Counseling, so you can go through Growing: Year Two, you can be familiarizing yourself with “I want to know more about CHRISTIANITY,” or “I want to be a BETTER Christian.”

While you are waiting for a friend, who is ready to go through Bible Life Counseling, you might check out “I want DEVOTIONS to do each day” and select I’m “The Victorious Christian Life” Regular Participant. Jesus will use it to make sure you are continuing to get the mature spiritual food you need. Be sure to read the information on its introductory page.

While you are learning more and more about your friend’s past, their problems, their goals, their plans, their method for the pursuit of happiness, and their dreams, ask Jesus to help you develop some prayers that will bring Him into their life in a special way. Ask Him to help you pray for them and for yourself that He will bring the two of you together for spiritual growth.

Jesus will help you ask the right questions. He will help you pray the right prayers. And, He will help you develop a plan for bringing spiritual growth into their life; but, you need spiritual growth too.

Since Bible Life University has the Sharing Jesus program for working with a friend through Living The Power Life:

• You can be working with Jesus in the Sharing Jesus program for helping a friend, who wants to know why they should become a Christian.


• You can be working with Jesus in the Sharing Jesus program for helping a friend become a Christian.


• You can be working with Jesus in the Sharing Jesus program for helping a friend become a better Christian.

For those friends, who want to be a better Christian, have them select I want to be a BETTER CHRISTIAN, on the WCTLC Start Page, and read the three choices that the next page provides for them. If they choose I Am A New Or Struggling Christian, you can take them through it by you going through the Sharing Jesus program.

If your friend selects I want to be a BETTER CHRISTIAN and then chooses I Have Been A Christian For A Few Years, you can take them through it by going through the Beginning: Year One program. Even though you and Jesus may have already gone through it with another friend, you will find that Jesus will help you gain a lot more insights into helping new and struggling Christians.

If your friend selects I want to be a BETTER CHRISTIAN and then chooses I Am A Mature Christian, you can go through The Victorious Christian Life together with them.
