Jesus, help me see what benefits are available to me through Bible Life University (BLU). Help me see what these three years will do for me. Help me see what You will be providing me through these Biblical studies. Give me an overview of what You will be dealing with and what kind of blessings, training, and empowerment I will be experiencing from You as I go through them.

Jesus, help me understand that in this year You will be providing me with Bible training. You will help me learn how to work with You so I will be able to help a person who is a NEW or UNTRAINED Christian.

Jesus, show me that:

1. You will help me show them how to grow spiritually in their relationship with their heavenly Father,


2. You will help me share with them how to live the Victorious Christian life through the Bible’s power and trainng,


3. You will help me teach them how to share with others the breakthroughs God gives them.

Jesus, help me realize that the main thing that is missing in a lot of new and untrained Christians lives is daily devotions. Help me see that if a Christian wants to be able to live a successful and victorious life every day of the week, they HAVE TO be learning how to get Your help EVERYDAY. Show me that even those who DO involve themselves in devotions are typically just looking at a thought for the day or some random Biblical principle. Make it clear to me that they need devotions that will teach them how to walk and talk with You all day long.

Jesus, help me always be aware that You want to be taking every new Christian into Your Word each day. You want to lead them into step-by-step Bible training. Help me always realize that the Bible will help them learn how to work with You so they can start improving the way they are living. Help me believe that EVERYONE needs Your help with their moment-by-moment decisions and with their daily activities of life; they must have GOOD QUALITY DAILY devotions to help them learn how to get Your help.

Jesus, make it clear to me that I and my friends have to learn how to carry on special conversations with You. And, they must help us grow in our relationship with You; plus, they must help us start living life the way it needs to be lived.

Jesus, help me apply these devotions all during this year. Help me be working with You as I take the daily Devotions With Jesus and learn how to use them to help my friends develop their own relationship with God. They don’t know how to get His help as they make the decisions for their day. They don’t know how to get His power to help them avoid temptations that will damage their lives. Teach me that the Scriptures in Devotions With Jesus and my mentoring will be very helpful in guiding them into studying and praying. Rather than them just consulting their own brain or some untrained friend for guidance, let You and I help them learn how to consult You and be helped by You all day long.

Jesus, work together with me so we can show my friends how to use Devotions With Jesus to help others establish a close relationship with God. Help me work together with You to start helping my friends begin sharing with their friends, so their friends will be able to use these Biblical principles to gain victories, make decisions, avoid life’s pitfalls, and get breakthroughs.

Jesus, show me that all during this year, I will also have special devotions that are designed for me. You will be using the Scriptures in them to help me keep moving forward in my own relationship with my heavenly Father. Teach me that through Mentor Devotions, You will be helping me with my Bible knowledge, understanding, and wisdom; and You will be increasing them. Help me see that all this will be happening WHILE I am working with You to help others start their journey into the great things of God.
