It isn’t Jesus’ desire for you to be confused or frustrated with your life. He wants you to understand all the principles for how it works. It isn’t His plan for you to wander around in life or in your relationship with Him. He wants you to know why things are happening the way they are. The disappointments people end up with in their relationships with one another, the failures people have in business, the negative emotions that dominate so many people’s hearts, and the physical problems people are currently experiencing in their bodies, are all solvable through Jesus; He wants to teach you and them how to get them.

If you try to assemble a piece of machinery without the instructions, you understand you are going to be confused, frustrated, and somewhat unsuccessful. When you started out in life, as an infant, there were a lot of things we were going to have to learn. But, your success in learning them was very dependent on who was teaching you. You need to think about all the people who have taught you the things you are basing your life on now; many of those people were failing at life themselves.

If you bite into a piece of fruit and find it to be rotten, you would spit it out. If you were working with a certain tool and it broke, you would throw it away. If you were driving a car and a tire went flat, you would get it fixed. That is what you have to do with all the past training, philosophies, and belief systems that you discover are failing you.

If you continue trying the same things, using the same methods, and they keep failing you, sooner or later you are going to have to doubt your methods and training. A lot of the time, you can tend to trust your philosophies, beliefs, training, and methods and keep getting rid of people, jobs, careers, and things. What happens, if your life-system is wrong or bad and you meet the right person, get the right job, head out in the right profession, or are doing the right things? If you trust your bad life-system, you will reject or fail all these people and opportunities.

Who knows more than Jesus; who is the expert on how life really works; who can you trust with the training of your life; and who can you allow to be your closest friend? Part of Jesus’ purpose for these studies is to help you learn that He is the One Who is most trustworthy, loves you the most, has all knowledge, has complete foreknowledge of the future, totally understands everything, and has supernatural wisdom for helping you make your choices and structure your life.

Because Jesus has given you a free will, since it came straight from Him, and since He didn’t have to do that in the first place, you can know that it isn’t His plan to take it away from you. Because He is totally honest, filled with integrity, and has a love that made major sacrifices for you, it is very important that you give Him a chance to examine your philosophies, beliefs, defense mechanisms, and life-systems. If you get all the right principles for living your life through Jesus, your decisions are going to be a lot better.

What if you built a big, beautiful, very expensive house and failed to put a good foundation under it? All the money, all the time you spent, and all the effort you put into it would be lost. Life crumbles, relationships fall apart, emotions get messed up, and finances start controlling your life, when you make the wrong decisions. Life becomes a struggle, the purpose for it becomes confusing, and the success in it become illusive, when you lack vital information.

If you will allow Jesus to share His knowledge, foreknowledge of the future, understanding, wisdom, character, attitudes, and power with you, it is like a light comes on and you can see life clearly. There are a lot of things you can’t anticipate; there are a lot of things you don’t know; and there are a lot of things you can’t do. But, nothing is impossible with Jesus; nothing is outside His knowledge and influence. As long as you are willing to use your God-given free will to accept His experiences, training, and character into your life, He will share Himself and His resources with you.

It has been Jesus’ objective to help you decide to join Him in studying, learning, and living His things. His people are praying that these major points that have been presented have helped you see why you need this information and power. They are asking Jesus to show you why these things will help you get what you need from Him. They will continue praying for you, so you are helped to see why these things are so vital. Jesus has blessed and helped billions and He will do the same for you.
