Your rules, systems, philosophies, beliefs, and information govern how and why you do things. If your life is governed by wrong rules, you suffer from it. You are pushed and pulled by all the demands of life; and, these pressures force you to not have time to examine the foundational issues that govern you. You don’t have time to examine what you do, why you do them, and how you do them. You get up each day and go through the same routine. Weeks, months, and years go by and you haven’t spent any time making sure you are heading in the right direction.

Jesus has better rules, systems, philosophies, beliefs, and information. If somehow, some way, you can read two to three pages five days each week, at the end of a year you will have given Jesus time to improve your life. He can change your life success-level in a dynamic way; and, He can do it without you having to make major changes in your schedule.

Jesus, working through these Bible principles, helps you improve in your relationships. He helps you become more successful in your finances; and, He helps you become a much happier, joyous, and peaceful person. Once He helps you keep adding more and more of His principles to guide you, your rules, systems, philosophies, beliefs, and information will all be transformed.

We don’t change and improve quickly; it takes time for us to consider Jesus’ concepts and decide what to do with them. But, by only having to read and study two to three pages each day during your work week, it will give you time to put those things Jesus has exposed you to into your life’s activities. If too much material comes your way, it will create confusion and frustration; if you keep driving and pushing your way through it, you will cancel out most of it. You need time with Jesus, so you can think, pray, meditate, absorb, and process His vital truths.

You don’t try to eat a months worth of food in one sitting. It has been proven that several small meals are much better than one big meal and a bunch of snacking. Your spirit person needs to be able to digest the spiritual food for that day. So, two to three pages have been provided to you, so you can then spend the rest of the day processing information and letting Jesus turn it into power and spiritual building materials for spiritual growth.

It is important that this experience provide you with powerful principles that make your life better. Even though it may be fun to read interesting information, it isn’t fun reading something that was supposed to help change your life and doesn’t. Results need to be the goal rather than speed or quantity. You are putting out the effort to read two to three pages a day each week; and, you need to be blessed and helped from the experience. You want to grow in Jesus; you want to live a more powerful life; and you want to be better prepared for eternity.

Let’s say you develop real patience with your situations, your goals, and yourself. Suppose you relax and allow a simple two-to-three-page-a-day program enter into your life. At first you may feel like you aren’t really going anywhere. But, suppose you go ahead and allow peace and joy to empower you to move forward in the studies. What will you have at the end of one year? You will have exposed yourself to Jesus’ powerful Biblical principles; plus, He will have had an opportunity to talk to you and influence you for five days every week for that entire year.

The question is, what can Jesus do in your life, if you allow Him to talk to you through a few pages a day during your week? But, you may not be satisfied with your progress; you may feel like you need to do a lot more, if you are going to really get the help and empowerment you need. However, if you try to read ten or twenty pages a day for seven days a week, you will typically get tired of the exercise and quit. If you keep it simple and steady, at the end of a year, you will have gained a lot more from Jesus than if you try to do it all at once. You need to just trust Him and the system He has provided; it will prove itself through results.
