If you are making sure the unsaved are being given the material they need, so they can come to Jesus, then you are giving out very light weight food. If you are making sure that new Christians are getting the spiritual food they need for growing in Jesus, then you are giving out what the Bible calls sincere milk. If you are providing spiritual food for those who have been a Christian for a few years, then you are presenting spiritual food that is for more advanced Christians. But, if you have been eating that kind of food for a long time, you are undernourished.

You may be reading your Bible daily, you may be doing devotions on a regular basis, and you may be spending plenty of time going to chuch and small groups. You may even be going to the book store and getting books that others recommend to you and reading them. But, if they aren’t addressing your attitudes and character, then you are undernourished. Most Christians don’t want their attitudes and character worked on. They don’t want to feel bad about the way they think, feel, talk, and treat people.

The sermon on the mount deals with ways of treating people and the things of God in a very pointed and powerful way. But, if you read them and don’t know about The Three Keys To All Of Christianity, you will want to stop reading and go somewhere else. You may spend a lot of time in prayer; but, if you don’t get many of them answered positively, you may lose faith in the power of praying to God. If you don’t know about the seven mandatory things He requires of you, so you will get your prayers answered, you will give up on trying.

Your relationship with Jesus is based on your giving Him your permission to do things in your life. A lot of Christians have never been told that. They don’t know that a lot of times the reason He doesn’t do things for them is because they didn’t ask Him to. Jesus does it this way, so no one gets something they don’t want. This permission-based relationship also means that you can’t get Jesus to do anything He doesn’t want to do. If you don’t know about The Seven Biblical Principles, there can be seven things you need to do but don’t know it.

Jesus is perfect, and, therefore, never makes mistakes. He loves you more than you love yourself. He knows everything. He has all power and authority. Everything you get from Him only come as gifts. Plus, He will only use His resources and abilities for doing good. He is totally devoted to win/win relationships. Which means that if something is good for you but not good for those around you, then He still won’t give it to you. In other words, His gifts must be beneficial to all who are involved.

With all that in mind, let Jesus show you how you can take advantage of these great and perfect provisions from Him. Study these things together with Him so you can be the best you can be in Him.
