Prayer is a vital part of your Christian life; it is your invitation to God, asking Him to do something in your life. It is a moment of fellowship, where you spend time finding out what God wants for you. It is also a time, where you express praise, thanksgiving, worship, and appreciation for all the wonderful things He has done for you.

If you don’t pray and invite God into those areas of your need, He usually won’t get involved. But, if you do spend time asking Him for His guidance, you will live life with His knowledge, foreknowledge of the future, understanding, and wisdom. If you do take out time to express your appreciation for all the awesome things He has already done for you, He will continue helping you with your present and future.

In Jesus’ “Living The Power Life”studies, through “How To Get The Power Life,” Jesus takes a person, who wants to become a Christian, through The Lord’s Prayer, in Matthew 6:9-13. They pray each part of it, so they can be born again. They pray it, so they can be a child of God, a member of His family, and a citizen in His eternal Kingdom.

After a person prays Jesus’ Prayer, they obey Romans 10:8-10 and learn how to confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raise Him from the dead. That gives them salvation and justification. Through salvation they are forgiven for all their past sins. Then, through justification, they are being forgiven for all their present and future sins, as long as they don’t sin on purpose. If they sin on purpose they must repent. That is explained in “The Lord’s Prayer For Sinning Christians,”

In The Lord’s Prayer, Jesus teaches you how to pray His Prayer for each day’s issues. And, He teaches you how to use it to grow in each stage of your life. Jesus told you to pray His prayer called “The Lord’s Prayer.” It is a daily prayer, that contains the foundational aspects that address your basic needs for each day.

You will need to pray other prayers, for your specific needs of each day. However, if you start praying The Lord’s Prayer everyday, as a routine, it can become a ritual. So, Jesus will help you look at His prayer from four different perspectives. Jesus always takes people through the first one, as their beginning prayer, for being born again. Now, He is ready to take you into three more.

There are four interactive studies on this website, where Jesus teaches the important aspects of the Lord’s Prayer. He is presenting them to you in “The Prayer Program”, where you selected “I want PRAYERS to pray” on the WCTLC Start Page.

Jesus will take you through: “The Lord’s Prayer For New Christians,” “The Lord’s Prayer For Sinning Christians,” and “The Lord’s Prayer For Mature Christians.” Jesus took you through “How To Get The Power Life,” so you could become a child of God. Now He is helping you look at it from three different perspectives, so you can grow and mature into an adult child of God.

After the three studies on The Lord’s Prayer, Jesus takes you through, “Talking With Your Heavenly Father.” He teaches you how to have a broader and more specific conversation with your heavenly Father. Jesus will help you see some things about yourself, as He teaches you through the book of James.

In this study, Jesus leads you into a process of praying the Lord’s prayer on a daily basis. He shows you how to do what He said to do, as you pray the prayer He gave you to pray. He addresses this great prayer developed by Himself and shows you how to apply it to the life and spiritual growth of a new or untrained Christian.

Every Christian new or old makes mistakes, commits misdeeds of their body, and does things that the Holy Spirit is trying to help them address. In this study, Jesus helps you pray this daily prayer, while approaching it during those times when you have sinned, failed, fallen short, or made a spiritual or relational mistake.

Jesus uses this study to serve two purposes. He helps mature Christians pray this daily prayer, so as to continue to grow. He also helps those who are new or untrained to grow into a mature Christian. He uses it to help you keep praying the Lord’s Prayer everyday for the rest of your life.
