The only way for your life to be transformed by God is to start looking to Him as the source. He needs to be your supply for the meeting of your needs and the solving of your problems. The only way for you to move into the greatness of God and start benefiting from that greatness is to allow your relationship with God to grow.

The more you work on learning the things of God, the more your life will start benefiting from His greatness. You have seen how great God is; now you want ask Jesus to help you open your life and allow that greatness to start blessing you. You want Jesus to teach you what it is going to take to have that greatness pouring into every aspect of your lives.

As you start to allow the greatness of God to cause you to want Him, it opens your desires to seek Him with greater intensity. God calls this increasing desire, hungering and thirsting. The reason you are going through these devotionals is because you WANT more of God. You are demonstrating that you have a real hunger and thirst for God and the things of God.

God likes and honors this kind of attitude.

Mat 5:6 (NIV) BLESSED are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

The more you allow your desires to reach out to Him, the more He pours out His greatness on you. It is the purpose of these devotions to help you increase your desire for all that God has to offer. As your desire gets more and more intense, God will respond to you with His blessings and benefits.

God limits Himself to doing just as much to and for you as you desire. He tries to never go against the desires of your heart and mind. That is why you spend time talking to Him in prayer. That is why you invite Him into the various areas of your heart and life. You want to give Him your permission to bless and heal those areas.

Ask Jesus to help your desire for God to grow and intensify. Ask Him to help your hunger and thirst for all your heavenly Father has to offer. Let the Holy Spirit show you how much your life will be blessed, as you keep looking at how great God is. Let Jesus teach you all that is available to you.
