Sometimes we get frustrated with God. If we need bread, we can go to the store and buy it. If we have a tooth ache, we can go to the dentist and get it fixed. No one asks us how our attitude is; or, whether or not we are treating our friends correctly. They never challenge us as to our faith or spiritual condition. All we need is money. God, on the other hand, doesn’t care much about money; He cares about our attitudes and spiritual condition. He won’t answer our prayers, if we don’t ask in faith. So, many of us have developed a unique relationship with God. If we can get our needs met through some other source, we will try that first. If it turns out that, that particular need is too big for our typical sources, then we pray. That is where things really get difficult. Since we have been used to getting all our needs met through money, we don’t know much about approaching God for getting answers to our prayers.
This study deals with the process of getting our needs met through God. Just like we needed our parents and our teachers to teach us how to earn, save, and spend money wisely, so we have to be taught how to approach, pray to, and believe God for answers to our prayers. The spiritual realm is much like the natural world. That is why Jesus used natural events to explain spiritual truths in His parables. God created the world so that it would give us a tangible, visible example of how the spirit world works. If we properly understand physical principles, we will be prepared to understand how God and the things of God work. Then when we find ourselves needing God’s help in a certain area of our lives, we will be all trained in so as to be able to get a favorable answer to our prayers.

God bless you abundantly as you move forward in your spiritual journey.
