Introduction To HELP eMagazine’s Victorious Living Strategy
This Is A Foundational Issue

If you have a vast knowledge about the benefits of Christianity then you may want to skip this short study and move on. But, If you are willing to check it out, we recommend that you go ahead and start here. It may be a little bit insulting and humiliating to start with such a ground level study. But it could hold the answers to why you are suffering in your relationship with God.

Most houses are built on some kind of foundation. HUD, a government organization, was trying to sell a house one time that the outside walls had sunk into the ground. The inside walls and the rest of the foundation had remained in place; all the walls in the house were cracked and almost destroyed. As the potential buyers went outside, they discovered that there was a two inch separation between the roof and the brick wall all around the house.

There was a time in the building of that house that the builders were just starting to prepare the ground for building that house. As they dug the ditches, put in the steel reinforcement bars, and poured the concrete they took shortcuts. From that point on, it didn’t matter how good of a job they did.
They could have used the best materials on the rest of the house and installed them using the best methods; but, because the foundation preparations and installations had been inadequate, the house was doomed to failure. Needless to say, no one wanted to buy that house. The cost of fixing it’s problems were probably going to be greater than its value.

This first study is able to go all the way down to your spiritual foundation and make sure everything is in good shape there. The reason you are experiencing cracks in the spiritual walls of your Christianity may be because of foundational issues. As long as the foundation is shifting and moving around, a person can make all the repairs they want too on the walls of their life and they will keep on cracking.

But, if the spiritual foundation is repaired and made secure, then and only then can the repairs in the walls of their life be made permanent. If you find yourself having to go over the same issues, getting the same advice, and trying to get help in the same areas, then you need to allow God to go down into the very beginning areas of your spirituality and work on your spiritual foundation.
